Our Services
Assessment
Through direct observation, interviews, standardized tests, and other assessment tools, the therapist gathers valuable information to determine the child’s current level of functioning, identifying strengths and barriers.
We assess a child's function in a range of areas such as Sensory, Behaviour, Activities of Daily Living, Play, Fine Motor, Gross Motor and Social Skills. These assessments help identify specific goals and develop individualized treatment plans, ensuring that therapy interventions are targeted and effective.
Additionally, direct assessments allow the therapist to monitor progress over time, adjust treatment strategies as needed, and provide evidence-based recommendations.
Direct Therapy
We provide one on one therapy for your child in their home, school or community space. We recognise the powerful role that play holds in a child's development, learning, and overall well-being. We believe that play is a natural and meaningful way for children to explore, learn, and engage in therapeutic experiences.
Through play-based interventions, we facilitate skill-building, problem-solving, and self-expression, while promoting creativity, imagination, and joy. We tailor our interventions to the unique interests and abilities of each child, providing them with opportunities for self-discovery and independence.
By embracing a play-based approach, we aim to cultivate a positive and engaging therapeutic experience that maximizes a child's potential and fosters a lifelong love for learning and exploration.
Parent / Educator Education
Parent and/or educator coaching help enable and empower key people in the child's life to understand the child's therapy goals. This supports transfer of skills across different environments as well as ensuring everyone is working towards the same goal.
Mobile Therapy
Therapy intervention is individualised to cater to the specific needs of each child. This tailored approach is designed to be conducted in environments that best suit the individual, such as the comfort of their own home, the familiarity of their community, telehealth or the supportive setting of their school.
By offering flexibility and considering personal preferences, this approach aims to create an optimal therapeutic experience that maximizes engagement and effectiveness. By providing therapy in the natural environment children are not required to generalise skills otherwise learnt in a clinic based setting.
